Gwen Stefani Professes Her Love For Blake Shelton While Fighting For A ‘Voice’ Contestant

NBC

It was a “blink and you’ll miss it” moment on a recent episode of The Voice.

16-year-old Caroline Sky auditioned for the singing competition show with a stunning rendition of “Will You Love Me Tomorrow”, earning her a two-chair turn from coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

As you all know, the two have been an item for over a year and most of this season’s Voice promos featured clips of their relationship.

Seeing as they were the only two coaches to turn for Sky, it was time for them to battle it out, and Stefani wasn’t going down without a fight. She told Sky that she felt them being on The Voice the same season was meant to be.

“I think what’s exciting about this right here, me and you,” Stefani says to the young singer.  “And I’ve said this like a bunch of times…” she continues before being cut off by Shelton who says, “Ya!” with some attitude.

“Oh, the first kinda nasty thing he’s done,” says Levine.

“Yeah, it’s okay. I love you,” she told Shelton. Levine was saying “Aw, so cute,” at the same time, so it was easy to miss!

Even though they are fighting against each other for an artist, there’s no love lost. Watch the sweet moment below.
