Gwen Stefani Turned Red As A Beet After Getting Asked THIS About Blake

YouTube/Today Show

Gwen Stefani released the newest single “Misery” of her third album, This Is What Truth Feels Like, back in May. The release was met with immediate buzz surrounding speculation of whether the song was about her current beau Blake Shelton or not.

While the tune is entitled “Misery,” it definitely has a romantic undertone to it.

The singer-songwriter appeared last Friday on The Today Show to promote the song and barely made it through two questions before turning bright red.

When asked by Today host Carson Daly if “Misery” defines the “way she feels about” Shelton she blushed profusely and chuckled “You’re Crazy!”

After composing herself, Gwen explained “The song is called “Misery” but it’s a song about love…and that’s all I will say about that.”

According to Daly he’s never seen the singer “happier or healthier” in the 20 years he’s known her and that her music is at the top of it’s game.

Matt Lauer joined in on the conversation to tell a still blushing Gwen, “Your buddy Blake says he’s never been happier than he is right now and this was meant to be.”

Fair enough Gwen, we’re all rooting for you two.
