Hank Jr. Brings Daughter, Holly, From Crowd For Beautiful Impromptu Duet

Sitting center stage, he called out to his beautiful daughter, asking her to join him for a very special song that has been a staple in country music for generations. 

Both known as country music royalty, Hank Williams Jr. and his daughter Holly Williams were blessed with incredible musical talents which have garnered each of them sizeable fan bases and brought great music to millions worldwide. 

During a special event hosted by the Country Music Hall of Fame, Hank Jr. called out to his daughter when asked to sing just one more song. 

“What do you want to sing?” Hank Jr. asked her. 

“‘Blues Man’,” she replied excitedly. 

The two bantered a little bit about which key they should play it in before she let out a beautiful riff, indicating the key she’d like to sing. 

Strumming away, Hank Jr. showed off his world-class skills on a guitar before his daughter reminded us just how wildly talented she is! 

Appearing on his album, Habits Old and New, Hank Jr. covered this unforgettable country classic way back in 1980. The album was his third full-length record to be released in under two years and peaked at the No. 4 chart position on Billboard’s US. Top Country Albums chart. 

Together these iconic singers produce a sound that will remind you just how deep country music’s roots grow, filling the room with chilling harmonies and crisp, soulful notes.
