Family And Fame
Bon Jovi, whose real name is John Francis Bongiovi Jr., has been happily married to his high school sweetheart, Dorthea, for over 27 years, the rocker often referring to her as the glue that keeps their family of six together.
Bon Jovi and his band hit the road together in 2017 for their This House Is Not For Sale Tour following the success of their recently released album which debuted at number one on Billboard.
Daddy’s Little Girl Is All Grown Up
During one of his tour stops, Bon Jovi called attention to his daughter, who is all grown up now.
“Everybody’s got a little girl in their life,” Bon Jovi said midway through his performance of “I’ve Got the Girl.” “Their daughter, their girlfriend, their wife, their mamma — it all goes by so fast. And they start out as little bitty babies and their future’s looking bright. And I wrote this song for that little baby, who’s now not such a little baby anymore.”
If you have children, you know that it’s hard to see your them grow up, but it is such a blessing when they are doing great things and in Bon Jovi’s case, appreciating the music you make.

Stephanie, who was 23 years old during this performance, then joined her rockstar father on stage, and the audience erupted into cheers upon her arrival. The two danced for the remainder of the performance. The father-daughter duo are extremely close, and the rocker loves to show off home videos of his family during his shows.
