Julianne Hough Reveals Brother Derek Hough’s Embarrassing Secret Obsession

Julianne and Derek Hough are no doubt one of the most talented pair of siblings to ever hit television, spending much of their adult lives in the spotlight alongside one another. So at this point, is there really anything we don’t know about them? In an interview with Yahoo!, 28-year-old Julianne reveals the secret obsession her dancing partner and brother has that few people know about. 

As the multi-talented siblings gear up for their 2017 Move Beyond: Live Tour beginning this April, many have been wondering how the two prepare for such an elaborate endeavor and what fans can expect, especially with their costumes. 

“We’re really diving into fashion-forward, modern pieces with a flair of sparkle,” shared Hough according to Yahoo!. “Derek’s obsessed with rhinestones now, which is so funny…I definitely wear more, but he’s like, ‘Put her in more! Put her in more!'”

Absolutely hysterical! Julianne goes on to share in addition to an abundance of rhinestones, fans can expect a plethora of different pieces including elaborate wigs and headpieces. Julianne and Derek have been a critical part in the planning of their third Move Beyond tour, the triple-threat performers aiming to tell a complex story of the ups and downs of life. 

“There’s a through line for the show that kind of tells a story of ups and downs and the struggles of life, but you’ve gotta keep moving, because the more you move directly affects the way that you feel,” Julianne continued. 

In addition to their tour, Julianne will return to judge on Season 24 of Dancing With the Stars.
