Rising country star Kane Brown first rose to internet fame with his impressive covers of fan favorite country songs by George Strait, Tim McGraw, and many other well-known artists.

It seems in the blink of an eye, he’s now practically a household name. With his deep voice that drive the fans crazy, Brown is currently  touring with Florida Georgia Line and its been speculated that he is currently prepping his sophomore album. Not to mention, song after song is hitting the top spot on iTunes. With this quick rise to fame, we know without a doubt, Brown is going to go far.

During Country USA 2016, Brown took to the stage not just to sing his own songs, but also cover one song that every country fan knows: “Ol’ Red”.

“Ol’ Red” was first recorded by George Jones in 1990 and then Kenny Rogers in 1993. Though they weren’t released as a single, Blake Shelton changed that when he released his own rendition in 2002 off his self-titled debut album. It claimed the number one spot on the Billboard chart US Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles.

Brown has the talent to take any song and make it his own. His deep tone soars across the audience while his fans sing along to the hit song. Cheers echo throughout the crowd at the end of his impressive performance.
