In the middle of Jason Aldean’s concert at Bridgestone Arena, fans were shocked and delighted when a certain popstar star stormed the stage. Kelly Clarkson joined Jason on stage for a surprise performance of their smash hit “Don’t You Wanna Stay.”

The crowd went wild when Kelly crossed the stage as she sang her opening line to the duet “Let’s take it slow, I don’t want to move too fast, don’t want to just make love, want to make love last.”

The duet went off without a hitch with Kelly’s powerful voice flawlessly hitting every single one of the song’s difficult notes even some of the most experienced vocalists can only aspire to.

“Y’all make some noise for Miss Kelly Clarkson!” Jason encouraged the crowd as Kelly walked off stage once the song was over, to which the audience responded with a wildly enthusiastic round of applause.

The song was originally released in 2010 off Aldean’s album My Kinda Party. The duet ranked No.1 on U.S. Hot Country Songs chart as well as No.31 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100. “Don’t You Wanna Stay” contains elements of both pop and country making for an even balance of both musician’s song stylings.
