Kelly Clarkson Shows Explosive Musical Transition In Emotional New Duet

Kelly Clarkson tears up on 'American Idol' Video

Country music star Kelly Clarkson kicked off her career in pop culture after her sensational win on American Idol‘s first season. Although racking in success with her thrilling hits and emotional pop ballads, Clarkson later revealed her true passion lied within soulful sounds and music, much more similar to the blues and jazz influences she has vowed to incorporate into her next album. Fortunately, it seems the star was finally able to take a swing at a compilation geared towards her preferences, as a new duet between Clarkson and a soulful talent has thrilled fans and left them craving more.

Recording the song “Love Goes On” for the highly anticipated movie The Shack, Clarkson joined forces with talented singer Aloe Blacc, producing one of the most remarkable and deeply moving duets. The song is no shortage of undying passion and chill inducing notes as these two talented artists take us on a musical experience never to be forgotten.

Other country artists such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Dan + Shay were involved in the music aspect of the film, each recording a powerful song as a contribution.

If this is a sneak peek to Clarkson’s new sound, we couldn’t be more excited for her next album. The Shack will hit theaters on March 3. Check out this inspiring duet below!
