Between their explosive musical collaborations to their various public appearances together, it’s no secret Kid Rock and country music royalty Hank Williams Jr. have one of the best bromances in the business. However, Rock may have just taken their friendship to the next level when he unexpectedly stepped out wearing a certain article of clothing.

The American Badass recently took the stage and made sure to keep his best friend close to his heart, literally. Performing on stage at a recent show, Rock donned a pair of baby blue overalls with the face of Williams splattered across the front of the garment.

Fans were immediately sent into a frenzy over the photo of Rock shared to his Instagram of him rocking the overalls, many commenting on their performance of “Family Tradition” at CMT Crossroads all those years ago.

“I think country singers have never been that close of a family,” Rock sang during their duet of “Family Tradition” that ignited their friendship. “But man, ‘ol Hank Jr. been awfully nice to me down here in Tennessee. I guess it’s because, I want to change my direction… I hope one day Hank that I will be a solid part of your ‘Family Tradition’.”

Since their CMT performance, they have each been featured on numerous tracks together, Williams stepping in on Rock’s “Redneck Paradise” and the Detroit-native on the country singer’s “Naked Women & Beer.”
