Lee Greenwood Brings Crowd To Their Feet With Patriotic Rendition Of ‘God Bless The USA’

Whenever Lee Greenwood sings his iconic song “God Bless The USA”, we always feel a sense of patriotism that cannot be matched.

Whether it be at the Grand Ole Opry, the Inauguration, in the hallway of a sporting event with the Army Chorus, or at Yankee Stadium just a few weeks after the 9/11 attacks, the song always moves us to tears.

President Trump arrived in Nashville, Tennessee this week for an event and asked Lee Greenwood to introduce him.  Greenwood walked on the stage to the sound of cheering fans and later brought everyone to their feet with his inspiring rendition of “God Bless The USA”.

While the crowd was singing his well-written lyrics, Greenwood stopped and said, “Let me take the esteemed privilege to introduce to you, the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump!”

The crowd got even louder as attention moved from Greenwood to President Trump, who was emerging from backstage. He sang the powerful final chorus of the song as people were applauding the President.

Later, Greenwood took to Facebook to share a couple photos from the night with the caption, “It was my distinct privilege to sing for and introduce the 45th President of the United States last night in Nashville!”
