February 15, 2017 was a big day for Reba McEntire. That was the day she made her Ryman Auditorium headlining debut, and she did so with a bang.
McEntire performed a total of two shows that day, the first being a two-hour matinee. The setlist contained a nice mix of McEntire’s biggest hits and some songs off of her new album, Sing it Now: Songs of Faith and Hope.
Those who attended the evening show were in for an even bigger treat. McEntire invited a series of special guests to sing with her that night, including Trisha Yearwood and Kelly Clarkson.
Her mother and sisters also joined her on stage, and the quartet put forth a lovely performance of “I’ll Fly Away.”
Much to the crowd’s delight, McEntire also staged a surprise reunion with Linda Davis, who sang with McEntire on their Grammy-winning duet “Does He Love You.”
The song centers on a love triangle, as the two woman question who the man in their lives loves the most.
A fan clip from the performance shows McEntire and Davis standing on opposite ends of the stage from each other as they sang.
They slowly started walking toward one another during the song so they eventually met up at center stage. From there, the two of them ended up delivering a stunning conclusion to the song.
Tune in below to watch these country superstars do what they do best. We can never get tired of watching them sing together!
