Every single day we come across many musicians covering their their favorite songs, but it is extremely rare to find an instrumental cover, especially on the drums.

Since joining YouTube seven years ago, the account TheStonecold72us has uploaded several videos of himself playing the drums to Travis Tritt, Davis Allan Coe, and even Hank Williams Jr.

One of our favorites he’s done is Hank Jr.’s song “Dinosaur”, which he included on his 1980 album Old Habits and New. While it wasn’t released as a single off the album, it has become a favorite among Bocephus fans, many wishing he had recorded a version with the late, great Johnny Cash.

This man really gets into the song, and even sings a long during the chorus. We love seeing people passionate about music and the talent to be able to pull somehting like this off!

Watch this awesome drum cover below and head to his YouTube channel if you like what you hear.

Hank Williams Jr.’s ‘A Country Boy Can Survive’ Box Set is available now on digital formats and in stores – it’s the perfect gift for the Bocephus fan in your life. Buy it here on Amazon!
