In February of 2016, 19-year-old Bryce Mauldin picked up a guitar for the very first time. It was then that he learned he had a God-given talent of singing. He shared his first cover video, and after viewing it, his family and friends told him that this was a career he should be pursuing.

A little over a year later, he now has roughly 25,000 fans on Facebook, 36,000 on Instagram and a few thousand more on Twitter.

“I love music and I have started writing my own songs,” he says in his Facebook bio. “I have already grown a lot in the music industry and I plan on taking it as far as I can to make this my career!”

If he continues to release covers like the one below, we think he can take his career far, as well. Covering a John Michael Montgomery classic, “I Can Love You Like That”, Mauldin amazed us with his clear tone and sultry looks at the camera. We know all the ladies will be swooning over Bryce in no time!

Montgomery released “I Can Love You Like That” in February 1995 as the first single from his self-titled album. He took the single to No. 1 just a few weeks later, and has become one of his most classic songs.

Take a look at Bryce’s version of “I Can Love You Like That” below and let us know what you think!
