Team Blake Members Engage In Epic ‘Voice’ Battle With Ronnie Milsap Hit

The Voice YouTube Channel

The battle rounds of The Voice force the coaches to make some difficult decisions. There can be no ties, and each coach can only pick one person to remain on their team.

Luckily for the contestants, they stand the chance of being stolen by one of the other coaches. But since each coach only has one steal, only a select few contestants get a second chance.

Unfortunately, one Team Blake member was not stolen following his battle that aired on Monday night’s (October 17) episode. However, Shelton did not find it easy to let him go, especially after watching him take part in an epic battle.

Blaine Long and Josh Gallagher sang Ronnie Milsap‘s major country hit, “Stranger in My House,” and the chemistry between the two singers was electric. This is something Adam Levine mentioned in his commentary, noting how “compatible” the two were.

Both Long and Gallagher did a great job at working the stage and showcasing their vocal abilities. Because of this, the other coaches were divided in their opinions over which contestant Shelton should keep on the show. Alicia Keys wanted to see Long stay, while Levine and Miley Cyrus were all for Gallagher.

When it came time for Shelton to make his choice, he expressed how difficult it was for him. “This one breaks my heart,” he said.

But Shelton made his choice, and now you can tune in to the video below to see who. Once you’re done, let us know in the comments if you think Shelton kept the right contestant!
