Nothing is quite as exciting as stumbling upon a phenomenal performance from an undiscovered star.
Tara Cook, the mother of Missouri native Tyler Burris, posted a video of the 17-year old singing Randy Travis‘ “Three Wooden Crosses” and the cover is quickly going viral. We were thrilled to stumble upon the video today and couldn’t wait to share it with you! In the video, the teen stands in front of a wall next to three hanging wooden crosses. He tucks his hands in his pockets as the track for the song begins to play. As Tyler begins to sing, his rich voice delivers the touching lyrics making us feel as if we’re hearing the tune for the first time.
Burris’ voice is reminiscent of Scotty McCreery and Josh Turner, yet has a beautiful, untouched quality that is hard to find.
Listen to this amazing cover of “Three Wooden Crosses” by Tyler Burris and share with everyone you know. We’re sure this is just the beginning of an amazing career for Tyler Burris!
