‘I’m Just Proud That They’re Happy’ – Billy Ray Cyrus Raves About His Talented Kids

moviepilot.com

For Billy Ray Cyrus, family means everything. In fact, he often brings his children on the red carpet with him to special events.

At last year’s CMT Music Awards, he brought his eldest daughter, Brandi, as his date and E! caught up with them on the red carpet.

Cyrus, as most of you know, has five children, Brandi, Trace, Miley, Braison, and Noah with Tish, his wife of almost 23 years.

E! asked him what reasons he’s most proud of his children, and he’s got lots to be proud of.

Trace and Miley are accomplished musicians, Braison is a male model and actor, Noah acts and sings, and Brandi is making her mark on the fashion world.

“I’m just proud that they’re happy and they’re doing what they love,” he says. “All the kids are creative. They love writing songs, singing, acting. For me, to see my kids be happy, that’s all I can ask for as a Dad. I just want to see every body living life and being happy and pursuing their dreams.”

How sweet!

As for Father’s Day traditions, the Cyrus family admits they are no good at traditions, because of their busy schedules!

We’re all all over the place all the time, but I don’t even know where we’re gonna be this year,” admits Brandi.

Well, hopefully this year, they can all be together to celebrate Father’s Day with Cyrus, who also has a lot to be proud of. His new CMT show, Still The King, premiered last weekend and he just announced a brand new album.

The album is titled Thin Line and will be released in September, but you can preorder it here on Amazon and here on iTunes!

Happy Father’s Day, Billy Ray! Watch the full E! interview below.
