Despite taking a year long break from music, country superstar Miranda Lambert still managed to secure herself a spot on this year’s “FORBES Country Cash Kings of 2016” list. Lambert came in at No.15 after reeling in an impressive $18 million this year alone.
With the release of her widely successful new single, “Vice“, Miranda ended her lengthy absence from music. The song quickly soared to No.1 on iTunes and Lambert took to Instagram to express her immense gratitude to her fans.
Miranda Lambert wrapped up her Platinum Tour in late 2015 which grossed $20 million across 40 stadiums around the globe. The Texas native also landed herself a spot as a co-headliner on the most recent C2C: Country to Country music festival based out of the UK.
Where most would have pumped the breaks after those impressive feats, the country superstar’s touring schedule did anything but slow. She embarked on her 26-show Keeper of the Flame tour while also maintaining her position as an opener for Kenny Chesney’s Spread the Love circuit.
In addition to her booming music endeavors, Lambert broadened her business horizons as well. Her Pink Pistol store – located in the singer’s hometown of Lindale, Texas – holds a diverse range of branded merchandise for purchase, from her signature wine (Red 55 Winery) to her brand new fitness line. Many of the items for purchase at Pink Pistol are sold there exclusively, bringing in revenue to both herself and her hometown at large.
“Miranda has been an economic boon to the community” tells town resident Seigel Heffingtion to NonDoc. “She didn’t just open a store…She created a business vision for the town.”
As Miranda prepares for the launch of her latest album, we can only expect to watch her soar even higher through the ranks in this upcoming year.
