With NBC’s hit TV show “The Voice” debuting its season premiere on September 19, coaches of the show have been avidly releasing clips to viewers to get them pumped for this upcoming season! From the release of a special preview that publicly debuted new coaches Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys to a hilarious clip narrated by Carson Daly that addressed the bromance between original coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, the hit show has been making sure its fans remain on their toes!
However, perhaps it’s the newest edition to the montage of clips that is putting fans into a laughing fit! The four coaches are each given the lyrics to a fellow coach’s hit song, expected to perform a dramatic reading using these said lyrics. Here is a small breakdown of who received what song.
Miley Cyrus: Adam Levine’s hit “Moves Like Jagger”
Adam Levine: Alicia Keys’ hit “A Woman’s Worth”
Alicia Keys: Blake Shelton’s hit “Honey Bee”
Blake Shelton: Miley Cyrus’ hit “We Can’t Stop”
Cyrus opens they video with her casual reading of Levine’s 2010 hit while Alicia Keys keeps her southern monologue short and sweet. However, it was Levine and Shelton who really took this concept to a new level of entertainment with their completely invested efforts. Levine, taking to heart Keys’ emotional lyrics, took on an entirely new persona and convinced men worldwide that he is “worth it”.
We then turn to Shelton, who embraces his southern twang with Cyrus’ lyrics of “La-Da-Dee-Da-Dee, we like to parrrrrty,” sending viewer to tears!
The clips captures the happy-go-lucky personality of all the judges, making us viewers incredibly eager for the shenanigans that Season 11 will entail!
