The expansive property owned by Kelly Clarkson‘s late husband, Brandon Blackstock, is now for sale. Blackstock was also the former step-son of country music icon Reba McEntire.

The talent manager died on August 7, 2025, after a three-year battle with melanoma, a severe form of skin cancer. The family shared the tragic news and announced that he “passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.

Now, the Butte, Montana, property where Blackstock underwent hospice care is listed for sale at $2.9 million. He purchased the property, located at 4482 Bull Run Gulch Rd, in April 2022, one month after his divorce from Kelly Clarkson.

The 48-year-old had a deep love for the rugged state and his obituary read:

“After more than 20 years in the music business, Brandon found his way back to the mountains and the cowboy way of life he always wanted to live. He found a homestead and a love in Butte, Montana.”

Additional features of the home include a chef’s kitchen, a game room with a bar area, a steam room, and an indoor pool surrounded by retractable walls for the warmer months.

The 3,800-square-foot horse barn with eight stalls, a tack room, and a hay loft makes the property fully equipped for equestrian living.

To make the winter months more comfortable, Blackstock added “premium snow-melt sidewalks,” and a “fully paved driveway [that] leads directly to a county-maintained road, ensuring effortless access.”
