Two Of Country Music’s Leading Ladies Are Actually Good Friends

Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert have been two of country music’s leading female artists for years. While many would consider them competitors, they’re actually good friends.

Underwood and Lambert collaborated on a song called “Somethin’ Bad” in 2014. The song was a smash success, as it claimed the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart.

The song’s rise to the top of the chart was a milestone moment. It was the first time in over 20 years that a collaboration between two solo female artists reached the #1 spot.

Underwood and Lambert’s music video for “Somethin’ Bad” was also a hit. It ended up winning the Collaborative Video of the Year award at the CMT Music Awards.
