Carrie Underwood Remains Devoted To A Healthy Lifestyle

Country music star Carrie Underwood clearly has a passion for all things health and wellness!

Carrie launched CALIA, a women’s athleisure brand created in partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods, in 2015. She later stepped away from the line in 2021.

According to her website, the fitness wear featured “high-quality garments built to support the female body in motion, incorporating functional details and performance-driven fabrics into sophisticatedly feminine designs.”

“The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts, to errands, to rehearsals and beyond. As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, I’m excited to offer women a wardrobe that will move with them and encourage them to stay the path of leading an active lifestyle,” Carrie said at the time.

In 2020, the American Idol judge launched fit52, a fitness app “part of a holistic wellness platform designed to encourage and support you on your personal wellness journey and make it easier for you to find your path to a stronger, healthier you.”

At the time, Carrie shared the venture was aimed to promote a balanced approach to fitness and wellness aimed at people managing busy careers, family life, and packed schedules.

Along with her fitness lines, the “Before He Cheats” singer frequently shares fitness-focused content across social media. Her fitness posts often feature strength training, HIIT routines, leg workouts, and at-home exercises alongside longtime trainer Eve Overland. She also regularly posts workout clips and guided routines.

While Carrie remains devoted to fitness, she has become passionate about living a more natural lifestyle over the past few years. The Oklahoma-native says she has been embracing simple days on her 400-acre farm in Tennessee.

“You can try to take the farm girl off the farm, but she’s going to find her way back,” Carrie told Parade. “Which is exactly what I did. And there’s just something really beautiful about being outside, about planting things, about making … meals for my family.”

She explains that living on the farm has been especially meaningful for her wellness and self-care journey, values she also hopes to promote through her brand new lifestyle brand, HiNote.

Since Carrie has seen tremendous success with her fit52 app, the country superstar and HiNote’s CEO and co-founder, Kerrigan Behrens, wanted to figure out what was next.

“We started asking ourselves, ‘What’s the next step? How can we potentially make nutrition a little more approachable?’” Carrie said. “If you can do all the hacks, if you can hire a personal trainer, that’s amazing. But the vast majority of people can’t do that, and end up just feeling super overwhelmed. So we decided to create HiNote.”

According to a press release, HiNote is designed to combine movement, nourishment, and community to make wellness feel more accessible and achievable. The brand’s first product launch is the Everyday Energy Daily Nutrition Drink Mix, available in three flavors.

Carrie says that in addition to HiNote, her “foundation is good sleep and good nutrition,” adding that the “little easy wins really do make a big difference.”
