Chick-fil-A Unveils Fall Menu Item After Years of Demand – Only Available For A Limited Time

Chick-fil-A just announced their fall menu and it includes an item that fans have been begging for for over a decade.

On Wednesday, August 12, fast food giant Chick-fil-A revealed their fall menu that will only be available for a limited time.
The menu includes Chicken & Waffles Sandwiches, a S’mores Milkshake, and a S’mores Frosted Coffee.
The menu is part of the company’s year-long “Newstalgia” initiative where they take classic favorites and reimagine them.
The restaurant describes the sandwich as being “available as a breakfast offering during standard breakfast hours, and larger entrée size from 10:30 a.m. to close, satisfying cravings through lunch and dinner.”
The S’mores Milkshake is “a mix of Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream® dessert, hand-spun with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles, marshmallow-flavored syrup and marshmallow-flavored whipped topping,” while the Sm’ores Frosted Coffee is “a blend of custom cold-brewed coffee with marshmallow-flavored syrup, and our signature Icedream® dessert mixed with chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles for a tasty pick-up inspired by the campfire favorite.”
Of the new items, Allison Duncan, Director of Menu and Packaging for Chick-fil-A, said:
“In this year of Newstalgia-inspired celebrations, we wanted to bring something unique this fall by reimagining the comforting flavors our Guests crave this time of year, delivering a taste that feels both familiar and new to appeal to all ages. Both Chicken & Waffles and S’mores are much-loved classics, and we challenged ourselves to bring those flavors to our menu in a playful and unexpected way. After seeing the incredible response and excitement from Guests in our test markets, we couldn’t wait to share these flavors nationwide.”
Previous Newstalgia menu items include Frosted Sodas, Frosted Floats, Classic Cups, merchandise, and new packaging.
Chicken And Waffles Were First Announced 12 Years Ago
On August 26, 2014, the Los Angeles Times revealed that Chick-fil-A had begun testing the breakfast item at select restaurants, including one location in the Inland Empire.
This version of the Chicken & Waffles was included as a “better for you” selection for customers who were trying to make healthier choices. The Chicken & Waffles breakfast item had 440 calories and only 9 grams of fat.
While it went well and, it wasn’t until December 2025 when Chick-fil-A tested the item again, this time in sandwich form!
From December 1, 2025 through January 24, 2026, select locations in Baltimore, Maryland, and San Antonio, Texas, tested the menu item
All year, fans of the fast food chain have been begging for them to bring it back…and their pleas were heard!
When Will The Fall Menu Be Available?
Customers can start ordering a S’more Milkshake, S’more Frosted Coffee, or Chick & Waffles Sandwich beginning on August 27th!
The menu will run into November 2026, but the date has not been announced yet.
