Chris Stapleton Sweetly Dedicates Newest Album To His Beautiful & Talented Wife Morgane

Chris Stapleton dropped his highly-anticipated new album, Higher, on November 10. His wife, Morgane Stapleton, served as one of the record’s co-producers, along with Chris and his longtime collaborator Dave Cobb.

Higher contains 14 tracks, including the lead single “White Horse.” Chris recently performed the song at the 2023 CMA Awards on November 8. Morgane, who sings in Chris’ band, was right by his side.

Also during the CMA Awards, Stapleton won the award for Male Vocalist of the Year. A clearly emotional Chris thanked Morgane in his acceptance speech, saying:

“I want to thank my wife, Morgane. I don’t do any of this without her. Certainly don’t get any of these without her.”

Morgane was beaming with pride from the audience while watching Chris speak.

Chris Celebrates His Wife Upon The Release Of Higher

After Higher was released on November 10, Chris took to social media. He shared two photos, the first being the album’s cover art.

The second photo had two words in a black font against an orange background. It was a dedication to his wife.

It read, “For Morgane.”

Morgane was moved by Chris’ dedication. She commented on his post on Instagram, writing:

“So many tears in my eyes I can’t see straight! I am moved and humbled and I love you more than you could ever know.”

One of the songs on Higher is also a full-fledged dedication to Morgane. That song is called “It Takes a Woman.”

Some of the lyrics are:

“Whenever I’m broken / Honey, you heal me / When I’m in the dark / You are the light / When I get lost / You know right where to find me / When I have my doubts / You make me believe.”
