CMA Reveals Stacked Lineup For Dolly Parton Live Television Tribute
on • Updated

The music community honored the life and legacy of Dolly Parton with a live television special.
Titled CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton, the program has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate Dolly’s life and career through live performances, archival footage, and personal stories. It is described as:
“A joyful, emotional celebration of the artist, songwriter, entertainer, humanitarian, and entrepreneur whose music and generosity carried her from the mountains of East Tennessee into the hearts of generations around the world.”
As part of an ongoing partnership between CMA and Nashville’s Belmont University, the special will be hosted at Belmont’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. CMA and Belmont will make a donation from the special’s proceeds to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the world’s leading early childhood book-gifting program and the flagship initiative of The Dollywood Foundation.
The concert was broadcast live on ABC and Disney+, in the U.S. and internationally, on Wednesday, October 21st from 8-10 p.m. CT and is now streaming on Hulu.
