A Colorado man who went missing in Nashville over the weekend has been found deceased.

31-year-old Conor Anderson was visiting Nashville for a work conference when he vanished early Sunday morning (Aug. 16).

Authorities say that Anderson arrived in Music City on Saturday and checked into the Millennium Maxwell House North Hotel in North Nashville. He attended a Foo Fighters concert at Nissan Stadium later that night before visiting the Up-Down Bar in East Nashville.

Metro Nashville Police reported that around 1 a.m. Sunday, Anderson flagged down officers to report that some men had taken his money. He claimed that he asked a man at the Up-Down Bar to show him around. He then paid the man $40, but the man took the cash and didn’t follow through on his promise to show Anderson around.

After Anderson refused to show officers his driver’s license in order to file a formal report, they advised him to take a rideshare back to his hotel. He reportedly agreed, but wasn’t seen again.

Bodycam footage shared by the police department shows their interaction with him prior to his disappearance.

Conor’s family took to social media to plead for help to find him. They wrote, “This disappearance is completely out of character for Conor. He never returned to his hotel. His phone has not pinged, his credit cards have not been used, and no one in our family has heard from him.”

They added that “Conor is an incredible person who is deeply loved by his family and friends. Wherever he is, we just need to find him. We need to bring Conor home.”

Conor Anderson’s Body Found

Four days after he was reported missing, and after a days-long search, Conor Anderson was found deceased.

According to police, Anderson’s body was found Thursday evening (Aug. 20) in a wooded area next to a parking lot.

“There are no immediate indications of foul play,” a statement posted by Metro Nashville Police read. “The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.”

Conor Anderson’s death is under investigation. If you live in the Nashville area and have any information that may help authorities determine what happened to Conor, you are encouraged to contact the Metro Nashville Police Department at 615-862-8600.
