Heartbreaking news emerged out of Nashville on Monday (March 27). According to The Tennessean, three children and three adults were killed during a mass shooting at the private Christian school the Covenant School.
WSMV, which is a Nashville-based news station, identified the six victims as:
Evelyn Dieckhaus (Age 9)
Hallie Scruggs (Age 9)
William Kinney (Age 9)
Cynthia Peak (Age 61)
Katherine Koonce (Age 60)
Mike Hill (Age 61)
The Tennessean reports the shooter was killed after an altercation with police.

If you’d like to help, the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has established a fund to provide support to survivors. According to the Community Foundation, this fund:
“…[will] manage the donations made in response to this tragedy. All donations made to the Fund, minus credit card fees, will be directed to The Covenant School to support the healing of those affected by this tragedy.”
