Craig Morgan Delivers Patriotic Performance To Help Kick Off The United States’ 250th Anniversary Celebration
Grand Ole Opry member Craig Morgan was honored to sing “God Bless America” during the NFC West title game on Saturday (January 3).
Before becoming a country music star, Morgan served in the U.S. Army. He was on active duty for nine and a half years, and served an additional six years in the Army Reserve.
Then, in 2023, Morgan reenlisted. He was sworn into the Army Reserve during a show at the Grand Ole Opry.
Needless to say, when Morgan was asked to sing “God Bless America” at the NFC West title game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, he enthusiastically agreed to the engagement.

Fans React To Craig Morgan’s Performance Of “God Bless America”
Morgan’s performance was part of the NFL’s kickoff celebrations for the United States’ 250th anniversary this year (2026). Ahead of the game, he shared how “proud” he was to play a part in celebrating the country’s milestone anniversary.
As Morgan sang near the goalpost, a group of people unfurled two flags on the field. One group held a large American flag, while the second group held an “America 250” flag.
Morgan’s passionate, a cappella performance earned a warm round of cheers and applause from the crowd. Meanwhile, fans who watched his performance from home shared their reactions online.
