Where To Get Your Own “Dolly On The Holly”
Christmas 2026 will be the first Christmas without Dolly Parton, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have to be a part of your family’s festivities.
Beyond her music, which includes some Christmas tunes, the Dolly Parton Estate has unveiled a new product set to incite Christmas joy: the Dolly on the Holly.
“Meet Dolly on the Holly,” wrote Danielle Parton, niece to Dolly and brand ambassador for the country icon’s estate. “This plush collectible doll is ready to take her place on your mantel, your shelf or wherever the holly hangs. She turns up somewhere new each morning, joins the party and makes a little holiday magic!”
The Dolly on the Holly, she said, is sold at Walmart.
Danielle shared a photo of herself posing with the Dolly on the Holly to her story on Instagram, with Dolly Parton’s version of “Holly Jolly Christmas,” from her 2020 album A Holly Dolly Christmas, as the backing track.
Notably, the primary outfit the Dolly on the Holly is sold in is the red dress that Dolly sported on the cover of A Holly Dolly Christmas, which is a detail that adds to the doll’s value for fans.
In a news release, the Dolly Parton Estate noted:
“Dolls have been part of Dolly’s story from the very beginning. The first song she ever wrote as a little girl was about a doll her mama made her from a corn cob. Dolly-inspired dolls have followed ever since, a lineage stretching back to the 1970s. Dolly on the Holly was a project of passion for Dolly and her team, a celebration of her life that now brings her legacy home for the holidays.”
The Dolly on the Holly also includes a tiny acoustic guitar and a mic stand, allowing for all sorts of posing possibilities.

Elf on the Shelf aside, there have been many celebrities with popular variations of this alliterative Christmas toy novelty designed by CultureFly, including rapper Snoop Dogg, with his Snoop on the Stoop; as well as Martha Stewart, with her Martha on the Mantle.
