ACM Announces Hosts For 2023 Ceremony
The 2023 ACM Awards will take place on May 11 at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas. Fans can stream the ceremony live on Amazon’s Prime Video.
On Wednesday (March 29) morning, the ACM named the two superstar artists who will serve as the ceremony’s hosts. Billboard shared the exclusive first report on the hosting news.
So Who Are They?
This year’s hosts for the ACM Awards are none other than…Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks!
Parton returns to host the ceremony for the second year in a row. She co-hosted last year’s ceremony with Gabby Barrett and Jimmie Allen. Before that, she hosted solo in 2000.
This is Brooks’ first time serving as Parton’s co-host. In fact, it’s his first time serving as the host of the ACM Awards ever.
Damon Whiteside, ACM CEO and ACM Awards executive producer, shared a statement with Billboard about the news. Whiteside said:
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring this legendary pair together for the first time ever as Country Music’s Party of the Year heads to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters. From exclusive superstar performances to unexpected collaborations to the industry’s most exciting emerging talent, fans are in for an unforgettable night that can only be seen on the ACM Awards stage!”

What Dolly & Garth Had To Say
“All I hope that we do as a pair is represent [country music] well,” Brooks told Billboard.
Gesturing to Parton, he said,“I mean, you’ve got your foundation and what you’re looking for here. You’ve got talent and class. Let’s represent country music the best that we can.”
“We are excited about this because we’ve always wanted to do something together,” Parton added. “We’ve always admired each other musically and as people and how we handle our business. So this is a great thrill for me. I think the fans are going to enjoy seeing us together, ‘cause Lord knows he’s got fans and I got a few.”
