Dolly Parton Cuts Ribbon, Officially Opens Her Tennessean Travel Stop
on Jun 25, 2026

Dolly Parton has created a space where travelers and truckers alike can experience Southern hospitality while on the road.
Hundreds of fans and Middle Tennessee residents gathered in Cornersville for the grand opening celebration of the first-ever Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop on June 24th. The roadside destination was inspired by the country music superstar’s years on tour and aims to make “the road a little kinder for everyone who travels it.”
Every detail of the space was thoughtfully curated, from a gemstone-encrusted guitar chandelier to countless nods to her beloved lyrics. Guests were among the first to experience all that Dolly’s Travel Stop has to offer – from traditional Southern cooking to photo ops and more.
Dolly Parton Personally Welcomes Guests At Grand Opening
To commemorate the official opening, Dolly Parton made a special appearance alongside her business partners, Danny Nozell and Gregory H. Sachs, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Dolly shared:
“Well, the doors are open and I could not be prouder. Whether you are hauling loads, hauling the family, or just passing through, we built this place for you.”
She describes the ways that the travel stop aims to make guests feel at home and adds:
“Good food, real rest, a little music, and people who are genuinely glad you stopped in…that’s what the road has always deserved, and that is what you will find here. Welcome home.”
The “9 to 5” singer cut the ribbon in front of the new business with bedazzled pink shears as bright butterfly confetti erupted above the crowd.
