Dollywood Sisters Earn Season’s First 4-Chair Turn on ‘The Voice

Two sisters from Dolly Parton’s hometown earned The Voice Season 30’s first four-chair turn.
Ferryn and Brinkley Wright, 20 and 17 respectively, are natives of Sevierville, Tennessee, and are full-time performers at Dollywood. Prior to their Blind Audition during Monday night’s season premiere, Ferryn shared that she has sung with Dolly Parton on stage, and that both sisters marched in the legendary Dollywood parade with her prior to the country music legend’s death.
Ferryn and Brinkley were the first act of the season to earn a four-chair turn.
The talented sisters delivered a beautiful rendition of Linda Ronstadt’s hit, “When Will I Be Loved,” and impressed all four coaches with their harmonies.
Each of the coaches took their turn trying to convince Ferryn and Brinkley why their team would be the right fit.
Adam Levine reminded the sisters that he’s the reigning champion and has had a lot of success on the show. New coach Queen Latifah said that she could see the girls winning The Voice “and going beyond.”
“They are a world that I want to live in,” Queen said.
Riley Green said that the sisters’ Blind Audition was the first that took him back to his childhood. “Y’all’s voices go so well together. It’s got that old school country music feel, which it’s such a great time to be that right now,” he said. “Congrats to y’all for having that sound because it’s really making a comeback.”
Riley then pulled out all the stops and reminded Ferryn and Brinkley about his duet success and even name-dropped his “You Look Like You Love Me” duet partner, Ella Langley.

“I’ve had a little success with duets,” Riley said. “There’s a girl that reminded me a lot of y’all. I took her on tour with me. Her name’s Ella Langley. She’s doing pretty well.”
Kelly Clarkson pointed out that she is the only coach to have won the show with a group. Sibling trio Girl Named Tom won The Voice‘s 21st season under Kelly’s coaching.
Ferryn and Brinkley Choose A Coach
After deliberating, the sisters chose to join Team Riley.
“I’m so excited I got Ferryn and Brinkley. They’re so talented vocally because of what they can do harmony-wise. To be able to get them on my team definitely makes me feel like I’ve got an edge,” Riley said.
The other coaches admitted that they were going to have a hard time securing country acts for their own teams with Riley Green on the coaching panel.
“Riley has some kind of vampire, glamour, cowboy crap that I cannot fight,” Kelly Clarkson said.
