Rapper Drake Caught On Camera Singing “Choosin’ Texas” At Ella Langley’s Concert

Ella Langley’s Arkansas show on Saturday, August 22 featured an unlikely star in the audience, rapper Drake!
Drake And Ella Have Been Exchanging Social Media Pleasantries
Rapper Drake declared himself an “Ella Fella” on June 22, 2026 when he included “Choosin’ Texas” into his DJ set during a gig in Houston.
On August 15, Ella posted a video of herself on TikTok lip synching to Drake’s hit song “HYFR (Hell Ya F*cking Right),” clearly communicating that she is a fan of the rapper.
The song includes the lyrics, “All my exes live in Texas like I’m George Strait,” which made sense for the country singer to post on that particular day because she was about to perform at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
The August 15th show was her third in Texas in as many days, the other two cities being Austin and Corpus Christi.
After celebrating her Texas leg of the tour, Ella took to Instagram to share some pictures from the three nights.
“Texas forever…Austin, Corpus Christi & Fort Worth… I’ll never forget these shows,”she captioned the carousel of photos.
Drake, whose Instagram username is @champagnepapi, commented, “Goated pen,” and the “Be Her” singer responded with a shocked face emoji.
The rapper is implying that Ella is one of the best songwriters out there, seeing as the acronym GOAT stands for “Greatest Of All Time”
Drake Attended Her Concert On August 22
Drake took his fandom to another level when he attended Ella’s August 22nd show at Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Throughout the show, the cameras show fans singing along to the song on the big screen on stage. During “Choosin’ Texas,” Drake was put on screen and he was caught belting the lyrics at the top of his lungs!
It’s safe to say that there are no hard feelings over this song, which prevented him from making history on the charts.
Drake nearly became the first person in history to occupy all ten spots in the Top 10, but he couldn’t manage to dethrone “Choosin’ Texas” from the Top Ten. He held the other nine spots for the chart dated May 30, 2026.
Drake was singing along with Ella’s tour opener and collaborator ERNEST. He looked like he was living his best life!
The rapper’s presence at her show, combined with their history of interacting on social media, has fans begging for a collaboration between the two! Only time will tell whether a collab is actually in the works or if these two artists simply have a great deal of respect for each other.
