The Eagles Add New Shows To Historic Sphere Residency, Tickets Go On Sale Soon

The Eagles have extended their popular residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas by adding multiple shows to their schedule.
The iconic American rock band kicked off their residency at the Sphere in September 2024. They were the fourth artist to perform at the venue, following U2, Phish, and Dead & Company.
Their residency has been ongoing for two years now. They’ve delivered more shows at the Sphere than any other act, totaling 72 performances so far. U2 follows in second place, with 40 Sphere performances under their belt.

Country music legend Vince Gill, who’s been playing with the Eagles for several years, told American Songwriter about his experience performing at the Sphere:
“It’s the most people I’ve ever been ignored by when I’m playing,” he joked. “You’re playing, and they’re all staring at all the stuff on the ceiling. They’re not paying any attention to you. It’s kind of fun, really.”
Now, the Eagles are adding on to their historic run at the Sphere with the addition of four new shows in 2027. The band announced on Tuesday (August 4) that they will be performing at the Sphere on January 15, 16, 22, and 23.
Tickets for the newly announced performances will go on sale soon. The presale signup is already open on the band’s official website, and the presale will officially start on Wednesday, August 12, at 10 AM PT.
General on-sale will occur on Friday, August 14, at 10 AM PT.

Are The Eagles Retiring?
The Eagles’ current lineup includes founding member Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey, the son of the band’s late guitarist and vocalist, Glenn Frey.
Henley, Walsh, and Schmit are all in their late 70s, while Gill is 69. Frey, meanwhile, is the youngest member at age 33.
In addition to singing at the Sphere, the Eagles embarked on their Long Goodbye Tour in 2023. The tour lasted into this year (2026), with Henley expressing his belief they’d be done after that.
“You know, I think this year will probably be it,” Henley said in February, as quoted by CBS News. “I’ve said things like that before, but I feel like we’re getting toward the end. And that will be fine, too.”
While it seems the Eagles may intend to retire from life on the road, it’s clear they feel comfortable at the Sphere. They have several performances lined up at the venue in September, November, and December, followed by the newly announced shows in January.
