American Idol Alums Gabby Barrett & Cade Foehner Announce Pregnancy With Third Child

Gabby Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner, met while competing on Season 16 of American Idol. Gabby placed in third that season, while Cade was a member of the Top 5.

Shortly after appearing on Idol, Gabby snagged her first #1 country hit with her breakout single, “I Hope.” The song has since been certified seven times Platinum by the RIAA.

Following “I Hope,” Gabby dropped her romantic hit, “The Good Ones,” in 2020. That song also reached #1 and has triple Platinum certification.

Her 2022 single, “Pick Me Up,” reached the sixth spot on the Country Airplay chart and has been certified Platinum.

Cade performs alongside Gabby as a guitarist in her band. He also appears in some of her music videos, including the clip for her newest single, “Glory Days.”

Gabby & Cade Already Share A Son & Daughter

Additionally, Gabby and Cade are parents to two children. Their daughter, Baylah May, was born on January 18, 2021. They welcomed a son, Augustine Boone, on October 27, 2022.

The couple decided not to show their children’s faces online. Still, both Baylah and Augustine make appearances in Gabby’s video for “Glory Days,” though the fronts of their faces are never visible.

Soon, Gabby and Cade will welcome another addition to their brood! They shared on Wednesday (August 30) they’re expecting Baby #3.

How Did Gabby Barrett & Cade Foehner Announce Gabby’s Pregnancy?

The couple shared their pregnancy news in a joint post on Instagram. Their post opens with an image of Gabby and Cade sitting onstage with a small box in front of them.

They prompted fans to “SWIPE for a surprise.” The next image shows the words “Baby #3” overlayed on top of the box. An additional slide contains a short video of Gabby using an at-home fetal doppler to listen to the baby’s heartbeat.

Gabby and Cade did not share when Gabby is due or if they’re expecting a boy or a girl.
