Garth Brooks Plays Surprise Show At Bluebird Cafe, Shows Off New Tattoos

When Garth Brooks turned 60 on February 7, 2022, the country legend celebrating by going live on Facebook for his weekly Inside Studio G show.

During the live stream, he opened presents from his wife, Trisha Yearwood, read fans messages, and also revealed something BIG he will be doing in the next year – getting a tattoo! 

He said, “I owe my baby a tattoo… I owe my youngest a tattoo, and I’ve got to figure out what it’s going to be, but it’s got to be done this year in 2022. So, we’ll figure it out.”

Brooks continued, “I’m thinkin’ something small like a sleeve or something. It looks like I’m going to start with the hands and throat kind of thing. We decided on it years ago, and this is the year I have to pay it off. So, we’ll get it done.”

He never said why she challenged him, but perhaps he promised that when he was 60, he’d get some ink for the very first time! Allie is no stranger to getting tattoos, as you can see in the post below.

In October 2022, Garth revealed that he went through with getting a tattoo. In fact, he got more than one!

“It’s front and left chest. It’s front and left back. And it’s a full sleeve,” he revealed. “I have five women in my life, my mom, Miss Yearwood, and my three daughters. It’s all about them – and it’s all about them being on my shoulders, and around my heart and by my side. I love it…I know my three daughters have my back and are by my side ’til I’m in the grave. But something about having them inked on your skin right here, by your side the rest of your life – [is] pretty frickin’ cool. So my mother is on my shoulder, and Miss Yearwood is right here on my heart.“

Garth normally stays covered up, meaning he’s always wearing long sleeves, so it might be hard for us to get a look!

Garth surprised the Bluebird Cafe on January 7 and played a few songs. In his Inside Studio G on Monday, January 9, he said, “Okay, so if you look, I’m sure someone will have — I wore a three-quarter sleeve at the Bluebird the other night, and I noticed I had my arm around Pat and some of it was showing. So I’m sure you will see a picture of it somewhere out there.”
