Gavin Adcock Stops Show To Call Out Nickelback Crew Member

Gavin Adcock Performed At South Carolina’s Rock The Country Festival
Over the July 26th weekend, Gavin Adcock was one of many performers at the Rock The Country Festival in Anderson, South Carolina.
Other performers included Kid Rock, Tracy Lawrence, Aaron Lewis, Shenandoah, Hank Williams Jr., and Nickelback.
Gavin Stops Show To Walk Into Crowd
In the middle of his set, Adcock spotted a man in the crowd that he had a problem with.
“Hey, let me tell you something real quick,” the singer said in the mic as he walked off stage. Another voice can be heard saying, “That motherf***er right there, I’m gonna kick his f***ing a**!”
He continued, “Hey buddy, you’re gonna lose your god*mn job you stupid a** bum, you better **k off back there.”
Adcock walked back on stage an explained to the audience that a man in a backwards hat was giving his dad a hard time, so the “Sweetheart” singer warned the man that he would be giving him a piece of his mind, and even asked security to get the man’s name because he wanted to “kick his a**.”
He then dove right back into his song “A Cigarette.”

It seems the man got a police escort out of the crowd and Adcock celebrated by telling him, “Hope you have a sh*tty a** night!”
Gavin Explains The Situation After The Show
It was a little hard to follow what the drama was all about in real time, so Adcock took to social media and posted a video explaining everything.
Apparently the person Adcock was having problems with was the “sound guy” for Nickelback, who was set to perform a few hours later.
He posted a video to his socials writing, “Nickelbacks [sic] sound guy is the real winner,” while he explained the situation.
In the video the singer said, “My family had been standing there for 17 songs. I watched them the whole show, not causing any problems. You come up and get in my family’s face, trying to get my dad kicked out? And you know what, I got you kicked out. The police drug you out on top of your head you bum. Congratulations dude, Nickelback’s sound guy’s a real winner.”
In a follow up video, Adcock said his acoustic guitar player’s mom was standing near the sound board and set her empty drink on it. The “sound guy” slapped it off and started getting in her face about it. That’s when Adcock’s father stepped in and the two men got into it. The Nickelback crew member then allegedly tried to get Adcock’s dad kicked out because of it, but instead he was escorted out by security and/or police.
