How Ella Langley Honored Toby Keith At Red Rocks
on

Ella Langley took time during her first-ever headlining show at Red Rocks Amphitheater to honor Toby Keith.
Arguably one of the hottest stars in country music, Ella Langley has been blazing a trail across the nation on her Dandelion tour. On Wednesday, October 7th, the Alabama native performed a sold-out show at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheater. Rising stars Kameron Marlowe and Gabriella Rose served as opening acts.
The picturesque venue, located in Morrison, CO, is famous for its towering red sandstone formations, which frame the stage and rise dramatically behind the audience. For the “Choosin’ Texas” singer and many others, playing at Red Rocks is a “bucket list” moment.

In addition to her chart-topping hits like “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her,” Ella Langley mixed in some cover songs into her set for the memorable night. Most notably, Toby Keith’s “Wish I Didn’t Know Now.”
Toby Keith released “Wish I Didn’t Know Now” in February 1994 as the final single from his self-titled debut album. He is the sole songwriter on the track, which stopped just shy of becoming a number-one hit, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Ella began covering the track in 2025 and recorded her version for Apple Music’s Nashville Sessions: Toby Keith Covered collection. She described it as a “massive honor” to be a part of the project and wrote at the time of the release:
“I knew instantly that ‘Wish I Didn’t Know Now’ was the song I wanted to do. Toby is truly a legend, and getting to put my own spin on this classic was an incredible opportunity.”
Since then, the cover has become a staple during her live shows.
