The Osbourne Family Has Grown!
Jack Osbourne, son of the late Ozzy Osbourne, has just welcomed his fifth child. Jack and his wife, Aree, shared news of their pregnancy in December with a cheeky post that read, “oops I did it again!“
In a joint Instagram post made on March 11, the parents shared details of their new arrival. The baby girl was born on March 5th at 8:49 am. She weighed 7lbs, 12oz, and measured 19 inches long. The black-and-white video showed the newborn sleeping soundly in a bassinet.
Even though their daughter will never meet her rock legend grandfather, she will carry on his legacy in a special way. The Osbournes revealed that her full name is Ozzy Matilda Osbourne. Meet her in the post below!
Ozzy Osbourne, legendary frontman of Black Sabbath, passed away on July 22, 2025. He was 76 years old. The family confirmed the news in a statement that read:
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
The rockstar had been previously diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. However, his primary cause of death was determined to be “out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.“

Jack Osbourne married Aree Gerhart in September 2023 in an intimate ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in California.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Maple Artemis Osbourne, on July 9, 2022. Jack also has three children from his previous marriage: Pearl Clementine Osbourne, 13, Andy Rose Osbourne, 10, and Minnie Theodora Osbourne, 7.
Upon Ozzy’s passing, Aree shared a heartfelt tribute including many photos of cherished memories with “the coolest father-in-law around.” She continued:
“The world got a rockstar but we got an ice lolly loving, goofy, big hearted guy who made us laugh like no other. He was always in my corner and I forever am thankful to him for raising my husband and blessing me w my family.”
