Charlie Kirk Is Being Remembered By Country Star Jason Aldean
Jason Aldean wants to ensure that no one ever forgets Charlie Kirk.
Jason was one of many country artists who paid tribute to Charlie after he was killed on September 10, 2025. The “Try That in a Small Town” singer and his wife, Brittany, knew Charlie personally. Jason remembered him as “one of the kindest, smartest and bravest people I’ve ever met.”
He concluded his tribute by writing:
“He was a man of peace and wanted nothing but the best for our country and its youth. We might have lost Charlie today but what he has done will live on forever. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, kids and the entire Kirk family.”

Jason and Brittany have continued to honor Charlie. They attended his memorial service in Arizona, with Brittany saying the event “changed” her in a profound way.
The couple also united to sing Luke Bryan’s emotional track “Drink a Beer” in tribute to Charlie.
Charlie Kirk Earns Tribute From Jason Aldean During Fox Nation’s Patriot Awards
More recently, Jason and Brittany Aldean attended Fox Nation’s Patriot Awards to present the inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award to Charlie’s widow, Erika.
Jason also performed during the ceremony. But before that, he delivered a powerful speech in Charlie’s honor.
“Charlie was one of a kind and will forever be missed,” he said to open his speech.
Continuing, Jason spoke about how divided the U.S. has become in recent years and how that, unfortunately, has led to violence in some cases.
“…and I hope at some point, we can all learn to have conversations again where we all want the same thing, which is a better country and future for our families. I know that’s what Charlie wanted too.”
From there, Jason noted how he wasn’t sure if Charlie was a big country music fan. But he was sure that Charlie understood where he was coming from with his song “Try That in a Small Town,” which he then sang in his honor.
