Those who were looking forward to seeing Jimmy Buffett in the coming weeks will have to wait a little longer.

On Tuesday (September 27) Buffett released a statement announcing the postponement and cancellation of multiple shows on his current tour. Buffet stated the cancellations were “due to health issues and [a] brief hospitalization.”

Because of these issues, Buffett has to refrain from touring for the rest of the year. He is under doctor’s orders to “take this time to recuperate and heal.” He hopes to return to the stage in 2023.

Five shows were affected. Three of them were postponed to 2023, while two shows were unfortunately unable to be rescheduled and had to be canceled.

Buffett’s team informed his followers that they will be able to obtain a refund if they had tickets for one of the canceled shows. Those who have tickets to one of the rescheduled shows should hold on to those tickets, since they will be honored on the new dates. If they are unable to make the rescheduled shows, they can obtain a refund.

We’re sorry to hear that Buffett has not been well. We’ll be praying for him to feel better soon.
