John Carter Cash was introduced to the stage at an early age. His parents, Johnny and June, introduced him to the world as an infant, singing him a beautiful lullaby in a small nursery. Little did they know that the tiny baby would go on to stardom, just like his famous parents.

In the video from The Johnny Cash Show, John coos and giggles as June carries him around the stage, delighting in Johnny’s sweet song to the child.
Johnny’s song, “Turn Around,” talks about his son growing older. He brings the baby a jack-in-the-box toy as he continues his song. June joins in as the two create a beautiful harmony, and John happily takes turns snuggling each of his loving parents.
John was the youngest of Johnny Cash’s four children, and was both his only son and his only child with his second wife, June. John has been involved in music as a producer and singer-songwriter, and won a Grammy in 1999.
Johnny had four daughters with his first wife, Vivan: Rosanne, Kathy, Cindy, and Tara. Vivian and Cash married in 1954 and divorced in 1966. Cash married June Carter in 1968, and the two remained married until Johnny’s death in 2003.
