Who Is Performing For Donald Trump’s Inauguration?

Kid Rock and Billy Ray Cyrus have reportedly joined the ever-growing lineup of singers performing at the festivities surrounding Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Trump will be sworn into office as the 47th President of the United States on Monday, January 20th. He will be only the second president to serve two non-consecutive terms, with Grover Cleveland being the first. Trump previously served in office from 2017 to 2021.

While Inauguration Day is January 20th, Trump’s return to office will be celebrated with events across multiple days. So far, it’s been reported that Rascal Flatts and Jason Aldean will perform during the Inaugural Ball on January 20th.

Aldean and his wife, Brittany, previously supported Trump at the Republican National Convention in July 2024.

The Village People of “Y.M.C.A.” fame will perform during Trump’s “Victory Rally” on Sunday, January 19th. According to reports, Lee Greenwood will sing “God Bless the U.S.A.” on Inauguration Day.

Matthew Foldi, editor-in-chief for the Washington Reporter and reporter for The Spectator, shared a copy of the program for Trump’s inauguration ceremony on X. The program indicates that opera singer Christopher Macchio will perform the National Anthem during the ceremony.

Carrie Underwood also agreed to perform during the ceremony. She will sing “America the Beautiful.”

Underwood confirmed her involvement in the event, issuing a statement in which she said:

“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event. I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”

Underwood received some backlash for her decision to perform, while others praised her for participating in the inauguration ceremony.

Billy Ray Cyrus And Kid Rock Have Reportedly Joined The Lineup

Axios claims that “an inauguration official” told them Rock and Cyrus will perform at Trump’s “Victory Rally” at the Capital One Arena on Sunday, December 19th.

Cyrus previously shared a photo with Trump in August 2024, saying he stood there with him as a “proud American.” Cyrus also performed “Amazing Grace” and “Some Gave All” at Corey Comperatore’s funeral. Comperatore was killed during a shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on July 13th.
