Kyle Busch’s Son, Brexton Busch, Just Won A Tense Photo-Finish Race

Brexton Busch is following in his father’s footsteps, and that includes winning.
At the Tri-County Speedway in Granite Falls, North Carolina, on Wednesday, Sept. 9, Brexton Busch won the Legends Car feature in style.
With a three-wide photo finish, which found Brexton narrowly besting two other drivers who crossed the finish line beside him, the 11-year-old son of the late NASCAR driver Kyle Busch wrote of the victory:
“3-wide finishes run in the family, but I know how to get it done.”
The race was initially called for one of his competitors, attesting to how close the photo finish was.
“It’s definitely crazy going on top — I didn’t expect me to win, but we won, so that’s good,” Brexton stated in a a post-race interview. “I was a little mad because I saw that I was in front, but I don’t know. I’m happy that we won though.”

Upon being declared the winner, Brexton then bowed in the manner that his father was known for.
Responding to the victory, Brexton’s mom, Samantha Busch, wrote on Instagram, “Kyle always told Brexton you can’t win a Legend car race from the high side. Brexton said watch me.”
His uncle, retired NASCAR driver Kurt Busch, also responded to the victory, writing a comment on Brexton’s video of himself bowing, which read, “Way to go young man. You saw the outside and you took it! Congrats.”
Even NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez reacted to the win, writing, “Great job amigo!! Proud of you. Keep up the good work.”
