Lainey Wilson has had one heck of a year!

Lainey Wilson’s remarkable five-category sweep at the Country Music Association Awards last month marked not only her ascent to stardom in the country music realm but also served as a pivotal moment in her career path.

The trajectory of the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer’s career is set to undergo a transformative shift, with her upcoming four-night stint in Las Vegas, representing a significant milestone. This comes on the heels of her recent tour where she served as the opening act for HARDY.

Their tour was followed by Wilson and HARDY securing two CMAs for their chart-topping hit, “wait in the truck,” which won victories in both the Music Video of the Year and Musical Event of the Year categories. The Album of the Year title went to Wilson’s Bell Bottom Country. Simultaneously, Wilson earned dual accolades as Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Surpassing the number of CMAs won by Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert, Wilson now shares the record with legends like Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, and Alan Jackson for the most wins in a single year.
