When the country singer was 19, he lost his older brother, Chris, in a car accident. Bryan’s track “Songs You Never Heard” recalls his time with his late brother. The singer reminisces about the music that he would listen to with his brother, and Bryan imagines how Chris would sing to country music if he were here today.

His brother’s death is just one of the topics that Bryan candidly discusses in his docu-series. According to Bryan, he hopes to inspire or help other people who have suffered a similar loss. Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary is free to stream on IMDb TV beginning August 6.
