Luke Bryan Impresses As Press Secretary During White House Visit With Jason Aldean
on

Ahead of their concert at Nationals Park in the evening of Thursday, Aug. 20, country artists Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan visited the White House.
There, they got to visit one of the most iconic areas within the West Wing of the White House: the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room.
While the visit was brief, Luke Bryan seemed to make the most of it, having fun while fielding a question that was up his alley.

With White House Press Sec. Karoline Leavitt on her way out of the White House to focus on her family, many are speculating over who could replace her.
Of course, Sec. of State Marco Rubio is hoping it won’t be him, as the White House continues to joke about him being one of the most employed people in the nation, having held four roles within the Trump administration last year.
While it is not yet known who will fill the role of White House press secretary, we got a taste of what it would be like if Luke Bryan was the spokesperson for President Donald Trump’s White House.
Luke, who is not only a country artist but is also a judge on American Idol, is known for his sense of humor, and that’s what he leaned into as he took the podium in the press briefing room of the White House.
The following question was posed to Luke by Sec. of Agriculture Brooke Rollins: “Luke, what do you think of the current state of the screwworm in South Texas?”
Responding, Luke said, “I think the screwworms are screwed.”
Getting a laugh, Luke then proceeded to share how the actual New World Screwworm is being addressed in places like Texas and Arizona right now, saying, “We’ve mobilized sterile male flies.”
Sec. Rollins then pointed proudly at Luke, telling him, “Good job.”
Luke replied, “Hey, see, I’m listening to our conversation.”
Beginning to get a little fuzzier on the details, Luke then added that the flies were catching the southern winds from the Gulf of America, and he then stopped himself with a laugh as he exited the podium.
Prior to Luke taking the podium, Jason Aldean stood behind it as well, but video of that moment has yet to surface. In a photo taken during that moment, it appears that Luke Bryan may have asked Aldean a mock question.
Earlier in the day, a NewsNation correspondent at the White House reported that Luke Bryan enjoyed some time with Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance, as well as Sec. of the Interior Doug Burgum and Sec. Rollins.
Aldean, who is known for being more politically outspoken, was presumably with them as well.
