Mailman Shares Photo Of Dog Approaching Him With Ax

Dogs are stepping up their game in the long-time rivalry of canines and mail carriers.

Tim Smith, a rural mailman in Williamsburg, Kentucky, snapped a hilarious photo of two dogs on his mail route. In the image, one of the approaching dogs is carrying an ax in his mouth! The serious look on the dogs’ faces makes the photo even better. You can almost hear the dogs saying, “Get off my land!”

Smith could not help but post his photos on Facebook for the internet to enjoy. The mail carrier openly joked about the two mischievous pups in a post that has been shared over 300 thousand times. In his caption, Smith wrote:

“Saw this on my mail route today. There’s a lot of reasons why your mailman might not deliver your packages, and this is one of them. I can handle a dog, but not a dog with an axe.”

Smith confirmed with WKYT News that the dogs are regulars on his mail route, and both pups are very friendly. Usually, Smith sees the dogs carrying sticks.
