Kelvin was sleeping in his bed in Leeds, England when he woke up to a strange noise of something moving around his room in the middle of the night.
He said the room was pitch black so he grabbed his phone off his bedside table and turned on the flashlight. As he looked around the room, he didn’t see anybody in there, but a strange noise kept coming from his bedside table.
Shining his flashlight towards the floor he saw a four-foot snake making its way up the table. Spooked, he jumped out of bed and ran to the other side of the room. Kelvin flipped on the lights and saw half the snake’s body was on the floor and the other half was headed up the table leg.
“I woke up to this strange clinking sound. I opened my eyes but it was pitch dark so I picked up my phone and scanned the room with the torch and as I was putting the torch down I saw the snake climbing up the table right next to my bed. I dived across the room and switched the light on and the snake was there, half on the floor and half on the table by my bed,” Kelvin said, according to Leeds Live.
Kelvin threw a blanket over the snake and called RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) who showed up and captured the snake. Upon inspection, it appears it was a pet corn snake that’s been abandoned by its owner. The snake was taken to a reptile specialist and is being cared for. They named it Tango.
