Morgan Wallen is bringing the Sand In My Boots Music Festival to Gulf Shores

Country music superstar Morgan Wallen has announced his latest endeavor. The record-breaking singer is bringing the Sand In My Boots music festival to Gulf Shores, Alabama, on May 16-18, 2025.

The three-day event was formerly known as the Hangout Festival. The new name is inspired by Wallen’s hit song of the same name, which was released in 2021 as a part of his second studio album, Dangerous: The Double Album.

Morgan Wallen will curate the lineup for Sand In My Boots

While it is safe to assume that Morgan Wallen will headline the festival, no other performers have been announced so far.

According to AEG Presents, the festival will be “a highly curated multi-genre lineup with some of Wallen’s closest friends, favorite artists, those who have inspired him, and that he has always wanted to perform with. Every artist, activity, and experience will be handpicked by Wallen, driven by his excitement to share great music and create memories with fans, friends, family, and peers.”

Morgan Wallen to host Field and Stream Music Festival with Eric Church

Sand In My Boots will not be the only festival presented by Morgan Wallen in 2025. The Tennessee native purchased Field and Stream Magazine with fellow country star Eric Church in 2023. A few months later, they announced the Field and Stream Music Festival.

The inaugural event was scheduled to take place in Winnsboro, South Carolina, from October 4-6, 2024. However, due to extensive damage caused by Hurricane Helene, the festival was forced to postpone.

It was just announced that the Field and Stream Music Festival will be rescheduled for October 3-5, 2025, one year later.
