People's Choice Awards/Facebook
The People’s Choice Awards aren’t new to the entertainment industry. Dating back to 1975, the annual awards show has recognized some of the biggest names in music, television, movies and pop culture. For the first time, country music is getting its own People’s Choice Awards.
Unlike the genre’s other award shows like the CMAs, ACMs and Grammy Awards, the People’s Choice Country Awards will choose winners based on a public vote, as evidenced by the event name.
Not much is known about the inaugural event, but we have gathered all of the information we can find and listed it below. This list will be edited as more information becomes available.
The show will air live on September 28, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET/PT simultaneously on NBC and Peacock.
The show will air live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
Little Big Town will have hosting honors for the inaugural event.
